The celebration also marks the beginning of the extended Golden Week holiday, which lasts several days and is enjoyed by many people as an opportunity to travel and spend time with their families.

In Timor-Leste, the Embassy of China in Dili serves as an important bridge in strengthening the friendship between the two countries. China’s National Day provides an opportunity to reflect on the country’s historical journey while further strengthening diplomatic relations, cooperation, and cultural exchanges with Timor-Leste.
Relations between China and Timor-Leste, established in 2002, have continued to develop across various sectors, including education, healthcare, the economy, infrastructure, and human resource development.
